The people who are disappointed (there are many) are the proof.if there was a trial period I would have just copped it on the chin and shutup. My simple question is this why is there not at least a 24hour trial period? All the videos and reports in the world can't compare to a trial version. The problem is, with one eye I can sort of see the game how it is mean to look, but when I open both eyes the screens cross-over in a very weird way and I feel cross-eyed. Skyrim looks like it is rendering in 3D and it looks better with VorpX than without, which means it is hooking into the game.

I am just very annoyed that there was no trial, and I guess it is my mistake in buying the product. Ralf, I apologize for coming across as rude, I do not mean this personally.

It will be hard to get smooth 75fps for example. Just don't expect it to be a 100% perfect experience (see above). With that in mind you can have a lot of fun with Although you want to wait for a crack (good to know, thanks for that one): GTA IV works with vorpX and a first person mod. In some cases that works very well, in others compromises have to be made. The point of vorpX is to allow you to play games you already own on the Rift, which you simply could not play on the Rift at all otherwise. There are far too many things deeply interwoven with general gameplay mechanics that make that unfeasible in most cases. One general remark: I sometimes think that some of you guys expect games with vorpX to be like (not yet existing) AAA Oculus native games. There are so many videos on Youtube and elsewhere from so many different people showing what vorpX can and cannot do, I think that speaks for itself. I hope you understand that I won't comment on your 'suspicious now' comment. Hot candidates usually are: special graphics driver additions (Optimus, MSI Afterburner etc.), video recording/streaming software (FRAPS, Splashtop etc), and various chat program (X-Fire, Skype etc.), also virus scanners can be a problem since they also hook processes on start. You should look out especially for things that can also hook into other programs. Unfortunately the cause for something like this isn't always obvious. If vorpX doesn't hook multiple games in a similar fashion, this is almost certainly an issue with something on your PC blocking vorpX. Skyrim obviously is an important game, so if there is something specific you think is messy, please let me know. It has both Geometry 3D and Z-Buffer 3D, has various shader fixes, you can scale the HUD if you want to do that etc. Could you please describe what you mean by messy in regard to Skyrim? The game usually works pretty well.
